Dear Parish and School Families,
We are pleased to announce that Miss Lauren Flood will join our teams at Our Lady of Lourdes as our Sunday Youth Choir Coordinator and St. Mary’s Colgan as our JHHS Choir Director.
Miss Flood is not new to our community, as she is a lifelong parishioner and proud 2024 graduate of SMC Schools. She has a beautiful voice and has been a member of our choir for many years. We are excited for her to bring her passion for music to our youth.
Please join us in welcoming Miss Flood back to our choir in her new positions. We look forward to the joyful music she will help our children provide.

Campus Work for the week of July 14th
Painting on the Steeple: this week they will begin painting the church louvers on the steeple. There will be heavy equipment in front of the church during this process. Use of the side doors is recommended.
Parking Lot Resurfacing: this week they will also begin resurfacing all of our parking lots on campus. The goal is to have the church/high school lots done first to avoid interfering with weekend Masses.
Weather permitting, both projects should be done by early next week.

Welcome to Pittsburg, Fr. Jon and Fr. Caleb! We are so glad you are here.

High School Volunteers Needed for Totus Tuus!
Helpers will assist the missionaries in the classroom and help with activities during the week for service hours. This will be during the K-6 sessions: Monday-Friday 9AM-3PM. To sign up please contact Hilary Gorman at gormanhilary@gmail.com

This is My Body: The Eucharist, Suffering, Rest, & Joy
6:30pm on Thursdays, July 11 – August 1
Join us Thursday, July 11 in Guadalupe Hall for talks, prayer, and discussion as Deacon Grant speaks about the meaning of Christ’s Presence for us in the Eucharist. We will begin by looking at Scripture and the earliest Christians’ beliefs about the Eucharist followed by how these beliefs shape our lives and our understanding of Christ’s love for us today.
No signup needed, just join us as you are able on Thursdays.

The parish office is closed this week on Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th for the holiday. We will reopen on Monday, July 8th at 8am.

The Blessed Sacrament will be reposed for the week of Independence Day, starting Friday, June 28th, at 4:00pm, until Monday, July 8th at 6:00am. You are welcome to visit the chapel with the Blessed Sacrament in the tabernacle if you wish.
