Did you know that December is the Month of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary? The Feast of the Immaculate Conception, celebrated Dec. 8, honors the conception of Mary herself, not Jesus. Today, we celebrate Mary as a symbol of purity and as the mother of God

First Sunday of Advent: HOPE
Advent opens with a quiet call to stay awake.
Our hope isn’t wishful thinking, it’s confidence that God is already at work in the dark soil of our lives. As the first candle burns, we lean forward toward the promise: the Light will break through.
Let us pray: Come Lord Jesus, open our hearts to your Light.

Experience the inspiring new film "Triumph of the Heart", telling the story of St. Maximilian Kolbe’s final days in Auschwitz, where he offered his life in place of another and turned despair into hope and prayer. A moving reminder of Christ-like love and sacrifice, it shows how faith triumphs even in the darkest places.
Join us at the Pittsburg AMC Theatres on Saturday, October 11 at 6:00pm or Sunday, October 12 at 1:30pm.
